Gladys Inzofu, Co-Founder and Executive Director

Gladys Inzofu, a seasoned leader with a passion for community development, co-founded Upendo Without Borders Corp with a vision to make a lasting impact on vulnerable communities. With a background in nonprofit management, Gladys has 16 years of experience working with NGOs in humanitarian work. She has worked with Oxfam and managed different projects across the globe. She is currently a practicing Nurse in the US and 11 years of experience. Holds a MA in sustainable International Development from Brandeis University, and BSc in Nursing. Gladys brings strategic vision and operational expertise to the organization. Her commitment to the values of love, compassion, and selflessness is reflected in her role as the Executive Director, where she oversees the overall direction of the organization, establishes key partnerships, and ensures the effective implementation of programs. Gladys's leadership is characterized by a hands-on approach, guiding the team with a deep understanding of the unique challenges faced by the communities we serve.

Dorah Mtekele, Co-Founder and Program Director

Dorah Mtekele, Co-Founder and Program Director of Upendo Without Borders Corp, is dedicated to shaping and executing the organization's programmatic vision. With a background in Health Informatics, Dorah has a MS in Health Informatics from Northeastern University and a BS in Exercise and Health Science. She has volunteer experience in working with the elderly and children Dorah brings a wealth of experience in designing and implementing initiatives that empower vulnerable populations. Her role involves developing and overseeing the educational, empowerment, and health promotion programs. Dorah's compassionate leadership style is instrumental in ensuring that the programs align with the organization's mission and create meaningful, sustainable impact within the communities.
